By accessing or using VanRig ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

VanRig is a free platform that allows users to plan van conversions by selecting components, tracking costs, uploading photos, and sharing their builds with the community. The Platform includes affiliate links to third-party retailers.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• One account per person — do not create multiple accounts
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on VanRig, including builds, photos, descriptions, and comments. By publishing content on the Platform, you grant VanRig a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains spam, advertising, or promotional material unrelated to van builds
• Is intentionally misleading (e.g., fake pricing or fabricated build information)
• Contains malware or malicious links

5. Pricing and Cost Information

Component prices displayed on VanRig are user-provided or sourced from public retail data and may not reflect current market prices. VanRig does not guarantee the accuracy of any pricing information. Build cost totals are estimates only. Always verify prices with the retailer before purchasing.

6. Affiliate Links and Purchases

VanRig contains affiliate links to third-party retailers. When you click these links and make a purchase, VanRig may earn a commission. VanRig is not a party to any transaction between you and a third-party retailer. All purchases are subject to the retailer's own terms, return policies, and warranties.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

VanRig is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Van conversion involves inherent risks — VanRig is a planning tool, not a substitute for professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for electrical, plumbing, and structural work.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VanRig shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to damages arising from build decisions made based on information found on VanRig.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your profile, builds, photos, and associated data will be permanently removed. This action cannot be undone.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
